Baby on the Way

That's right, Brian and I are expecting a little Kohl to join us in mid-November! We are so excited and amazed that God would bless us with so much. We've been busy arguing over baby names - which, turns out, I have thought about a whole lot more than Brian has. I guess that's no surprise. Every name he suggests I have already considered and have a reason for or against it. So then he doesn't want to play the name game anymore so THEN I have to apologize and say "okay okay, I won't reject all your ideas, let's try again."  It's been great. :)

Anyway I don't really have any relevant pictures to share since there's no baby yet and the ultrasound picture we have is from several weeks ago and is too small to see. But I got two bracelets, one with pink beads and one with blue, to represent the baby. I'll cut one off when we find out what he/she is in a a little while. :)

  2. that's so funny about the names. I think J and I are pretty 50/50 in terms of rejection except that I keep coming back with Owen Eisenhower and it keeps getting rejected over and over again

    1. Eisenhower is a very respectable name. I can't imagine why Jen doesn't like it......... Must not be Italian enough or something. ;)

  4. Hey guys MY birthday is mid November! It's fine, you don't have to ask me to name your little person Elliot, it's a free world after all.

  5. Good luck with the whole name thing. I'm 26 weeks and we only have 1 boy's name picked out. No middle name or nothin'.

    1. Well, we've got a few boys' names... NO girl ones tho. I guess that's why babies take so long. :) good luck to you guys!

  6. Congratulations! That's so neat that you're pregnant. Hope everything is going well. We always had trouble picking out names. Keith wouldn't discuss names until our babies were born. Once we knew if it was a girl or a boy, we could eliminate 50 percent of the names. Then he had to see the baby to see who it looked like. Hopefully you'll find something mutually acceptable.
